What Is Included in a Typical AC Tune Up Service?

A typical AC tune-up includes inspection, cleaning, testing, and adjustments to restore safe, efficient operation. Most visits focus on removing dust and buildup that strain parts and catching loose or weak electrical and refrigerant issues before they cause breakdowns. We call our above-standard tune-up a Revitalizer, and we prioritize repair-first recommendations without sales pressure. Our technicians perform this work every day across the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including homes in Garland. First-time customers can get a $59 complete AC + furnace tune-up/cleaning, and if it breaks down in the season after this service, we won’t charge to repair it.

What we typically do:

  • Clean blower wheel and outdoor coils; replace air filters; lubricate moving parts
  • Check refrigerant level, inspect electrical connections, and test thermostat
  • Install a fresh thermostat battery and recalibrate to factory specs
  • Flag developing issues so you can fix small problems before they grow

If we find a matted blower wheel, we pull and deep-clean it instead of just brushing the face. Change filters every two months in peak cooling and schedule maintenance before summer.
